Data Storage
Stored locally, without a developer cloud account.
- Medication details, schedules, inventory records, and dose history are stored locally on your device.
- Reminder settings, stock thresholds, and language preferences are stored locally on your device.
- A static medication catalog is bundled inside the app for local search and selection support.
- The app does not provide account registration and does not upload medication-management data to developer servers.
Permissions
Only the permissions needed for features you choose.
- Notifications: used for medication reminders, follow-up reminders, low-stock alerts, and restock reminders.
- Photos: used only when you choose to save a shopping-list image to your photo library.
- Notifications are created and delivered locally by iOS on your device.
- You can change or remove these permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
Exports and Sharing
Exports are under your control.
- Medication logs, schedules, and inventory summaries are generated on your device.
- You can share exported files through system share sheets, AirDrop, email, or other destinations you choose.
- Please review recipients and channels before sharing health-related records.
- The developer does not collect, read, or store the contents of your exported files.
Membership and Payments
Purchases are handled by Apple.
- Membership purchases, refunds, and restore flows are handled by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit.
- The app reads only the verified entitlement state required to unlock purchased features.
- Medication, inventory, and history data are not sent to developer servers as part of the purchase flow.
Third-Party Services
No ads, analytics, or tracking.
- No third-party advertising SDKs are used.
- No third-party analytics, behavior tracking, or profiling services are used.
- Personal medication data is not shared with advertising or analytics providers.
Security and Deletion
Protected by the iOS sandbox.
- App data is protected by the iOS app sandbox.
- Avela Meds does not provide developer-operated cloud sync for medication data.
- Removing the app usually removes its local data unless you have exported copies or device backups that include it.
- If you need long-term retention, export important records regularly and store them securely.
