Avela Meds · Complex medication schedules

One medication schedule is easy. Five different ones are not.

When medications run on different days, cycles, and times, a stack of generic alarms stops telling you what is actually due today. A better workflow turns each medication plan into one clear daily timeline.

Keep each medication on its own cadence.

Avela supports daily, alternating-day, weekly, cyclical, and as-needed schedules. A medication can also have multiple dose times in the same day, so the Today view is generated from the active plan instead of one shared alarm list.

What is due now?

When several medications overlap, the useful view is not a settings page. It is a timeline that shows the current plan and the outcome of each scheduled dose. A reminder is not automatically treated as a completed dose.

Do not rebuild a long-term plan for one unusual dose.

Long-term schedules and one-off exceptions are different jobs. Avela lets a plan change take effect immediately, tomorrow, or at a specified time, while a single temporary dose can be handled separately.

Important medication can use follow-up reminders.

For medication you mark as core, Avela can use follow-up reminders after the first notification. Those reminders stop after the dose is recorded as handled. Notification delivery still depends on iOS permissions and system settings.

Several medications also means several stock levels.

Current inventory, low-stock state, refills, and a medication shopping list stay connected to the same medication records.

Designed for long-term medication routines on iPhone.

Avela combines complex schedules, reminders, dose outcomes, medication inventory, history, and PDF records. No developer account is required, and medication data stays on-device by default.

This page explains reminder and record-keeping features only. It does not provide medical advice, dosage instructions, or guidance on changing a prescribed medication schedule.
